Fifteen hospitals, together with 13 in the rural places, will get mobile blood pressure level devices and arm cuffs of varied dimensions, State Minister inside the Ministry of Wellness and Wellness, Hon. Juliet Cuthbert-Flynn, has disclosed.
Talking within the handover from the tools because of the Rotary Club of St. Andrew North, in New Kingston on Monday (June 14), the Condition Minister mentioned inadequate provides of mobile hypertension monitors and youngsters arm cuffs have impacted the power of some rural hospitals to reply correctly with therapy.
"Today’s handover ceremony marks a move inside the proper route, because the Ministry, via this generous reward, seeks to enhance and advance the quality of healthcare across Jamaica, primarily to our baby and adolescent population,†she noted.
The donation includes 36 wheeled inner mobile blood pressure devices and 159 cuffs of varied measurements for infants and kids.

The Jamaica Kidney Little ones Basis collaborated along with the Rotary Club around the challenge.
Jamaica Kidney Young children Basis is actually a nonprofit organisation committed to
improving upon the care of youngsters with kidney condition.
